Until Haiti has a healthy, stable economy consisting of quality local businesses, its people will never be independent of relief services.  This has been going on too long – most of the nation’s 200+ year history, in fact.

We at Servants for Haiti think that is not acceptable.  We are dedicated to the long term healing of the Haitian economy.  To accomplish that, we have established a series of programs aimed at creating jobs through local entrepreneurship.

1. Training for people who want to start and run their own businesses.
2. Providing small no-interest loans for graduates of the training program.
