Haiti Two Years Later
New Beginnings
The Mission of Servants for Haiti
We are committed to the long term recovery of the nation. We seek to provide jobs for the jobless, homes for the homeless, and hope for the hopeless. We see our task as eliminating the need for organizations like ours. By the grace of God, we’re doing it one family at a time, one home at a time, one life at a time.
We implement this mission primarily through three distinct efforts:
-
Supporting potential Haitian employers through our entrepreneurial programs.
-
Training young people through continuing education scholarships.
-
Providing shelter through home building.

Servants for Haiti is helping move families from tents like these ... to safe homes like these. We'll be building these homes during our upcoming trips. Join us!
We invite you to explore our work by checking out the menu options above and the articles that we regularly post here (also listed by date and category at the bottom of this page). Once you’ve had a chance to learn about what we do, we invite you to join the discussion. Each post offers an opportunity to comment and ask questions. When you are ready, contact us to find out how you can get involved through donations, fundraisers, and joining one of our teams.

Servants for Haiti recently implemented a complete shift in our emphasis, affecting all our operations. Until recently, we concentrated all our resources on two works, an orphanage and school in Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti. The orphanage and school sponsorship programs are still in operation. They have been transferred to a new organization, Haiti International Alliance. See the article about HIA and the transition here.
Servants for Haiti is a non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions are fully tax deductible. To make an online donations, go to our donation page .
