New Mission, New Look

There’s a big change in our web page: a new logo.  Since altering our activities last year, we’ve been trying to determine a new look to represent our new mission.  The banner at the top of the page is the result.  Visit this post to learn more about this symbolic change.

The Mission of Servants for Haiti

We are committed to the long term recovery of the nation.  We seek to provide jobs for the jobless, homes for the homeless, and hope for the hopeless.  We see our task as eliminating the need for organizations like ours.  By the grace of God, we’re doing it one family at a time, one home at a time, one life at a time.

We implement this mission primarily through three distinct efforts:

  1. Supporting potential Haitian employers through our entrepreneurial programs.

  2. Training young people through continuing education scholarships.

  3. Providing shelter through home building.

Our first class of new entrepreneurs (L to R): Monite (teacher), Odulka, Shedlyne, Wilda, and Johnny. Click on the picture to read how they're doing.

We invite you to explore our work by checking out the menu options above and the articles that we regularly post here (also listed by date and category at the bottom of this page).  Once you’ve had a chance to learn about what we do, we invite you to join the discussion.  Each post offers an opportunity to comment and ask questions.  When you are ready, contact us to find out how you can get involved through donations, fundraisers, and joining one of our teams.
